stephen shore
I quite like the images produced by Stephen Shore, I find them quite interesting and I like how the images are old so they have a "retro" feel to them. The image to the right is in America as you can tell for many reasons; cars driving on the right hand side and extremely large signs.
I love how it looks like a typical American setting in the 1960s and typical American weather with a bright blue sky. I also like how the image has been set out so that the Chevron sign is one of the main focus' with the post on the left side. |
julius shulman
iwan baan
I really love the images on the right taken by Iwan Baan, these are very architectural images of all different buildings or parts of buildings which I find really beautiful and makes you want to be there or live in the buildings there. I also like how a simplistic photo of architecture can have such a clean and positive effect.

bernd and hilla becher
I find these images quite interesting, I like how there is repetition in the type of building being photographed, I also like how the images are all taken from the same angle as it gives you something to compare each building with. I also like how the weather conditions that you can see in each set of images look the same- on the left, seems to be cloudy and on the right seem to be a bit foggy.
