my project plan
After my first project it has made me really want to do something else about areas or roads however I don't want to photograph people in any way shape or form as I don't feel passionate about portraits which means I would not enjoy doing a project about that. I would like to do my entire project locally- it would be great if it snowed and I could take pictures of a winter wonderland in my area however the weather will do what it wants to do.
1st Idea: My first idea is to take a picture from exactly the same place everyday for 2 weeks or longer. This would need to be researched a lot for a place that might look different everyday so that every single picture isn't the same. The only issue with this is remembering to go and take a picture everyday and standing in the exact spot so that every picture is taken from exactly the same place.
2nd Idea: My second idea is that I am going to take a picture every hour of a day from 6am to 10pm on the same day and then lay them out in a story board so that it shows the sun rising and how bright it get throughout the day and then when it start to get dark. I would have to take the image at the same place each time which would be just outside of my house as I do not like the idea of having to get up that early then going somewhere else at 6am in the morning and then every hour seventeen times. I could also do this but make it digitally as a time lapse and upload it onto vimeo. I really like this idea so far as it will show a good variation between each hour of the day however it is another typology and I did a typology before so I am not sure if I would like to do it again or not even though I did really enjoy it.
3rd Idea: My third idea is that I am going to go to Greenwich Park for the day and take load of pictures of random things that I want to photograph and see how it goes to whether that would be good enough for my project or if I would have to go back with more of a closed mind or start a different project instead if it doesn't work at all.
4th Idea: My fourth idea is that I am going to go to Greenwich Park and do a time lapse so that it shows how many people walk through Greenwich Park in a day as I really like time lapses. It could also be of Blackheath from the heath as it would show all of the traffic and phases that it the roads go through during a day.
I have decided that with my second project I might like to edit the images afterwards as I did not edit any of my pictures from my first project. The only things that I have to think about for the editing is whether I am going to edit on photoshop or just use apps that I have on my Ipad. The photoshop option is probably what I would go with as there is such a wide variety of things that you can do on photoshop compared to editing apps and it is also more professional.
I have recently downloaded a new app on my phone called "Osnap" which you can set up to take an image every second (or whatever you set it to) for however long you want to which it can then automatically get set up into a little movie or the images can all be printed and turned into a flip book to tell a story. The only issue that I seem to have is that this final piece is more about the idea behind the final piece rather than the piece itself.

my final project decision
I have finally decided that I would like to a time lapse in the style of a flip book. I have decided that I am going to go to Greenwich Park one day in the Christmas holidays and sit on a bench and take pictures at about 10 second intervals for about 10-20 minutes depending on if anyone is walking past or if anything is happening so that it shows all of the people that go to work on a daily basis or just go for a stroll around the park. I think this is kind of more about the underlying message saying that people all around the world walk to work on an everyday basis at the same time, on the same route and hardly anybody notices them. This is the same thing that the people did everyday on their way to work at the to world trade centres until one day, they didn't get a chance to go to anymore or to do anything that they used to be able to do. I think this kind of puts into perspective how the most normal and ordinary things in life are taken for granted and not thought about much which is quite sad and makes you realise that you only get to live everyday or your life once and that there is nothing that can change what has happened in your past but you could think more positively about everything you do in the future.
